The next version of the open source Dicom library Imebra , to be released in December, will bring DICOMDIR support.

The first tests havepassed successfully and the first changes will appear soon in the SVN.

DICOMDIR will be supported both in reading and in writing mode.

Also in the next version of Imebra :

• an updated Dicom2Jpeg application with new interesting features
• a new application DicomDirParser, which returns the DICOMDIR structure
  
• a new application DicomParse, which returns all the tags embedded in a Dicom file
