A beta version of Imebra, the open source Dicom library from Puntoexe, is going to be released in April 2007. The major innovation is the introduction of the "load on demand": the Dicom tags can be loaded from the file only when needed; this decreases the amount of RAM needed when opening a file that contains several images or other tags that contain a lot of data. |
